Thanks for visiting - here's a short profile.

 

I am a versatile artist based in South Gloucestershire in the UK, working predominantly with graphite, watercolours, acrylics, inks, digital media and I enjoy sculpting and wood carving. I am also working on writing and illustrating two childrens books as long term projects.

 

I work on various subject matter, from portraits, landscapes, still life and fantasy art (I have a crazy world of imagination just itching to get out onto paper, canvas and in the form of sculpture). If I'm not completing a commission I will focus on whatever draws my attention at the time and will choose a medium to use based on how I want the finished art to look.

 

I am influenced by nature and architecture (and to some extent by myth, magic and legend).

 

I tend to focus on texture and detail and my art is representational, rather than hyper-realistic. As you will see from my gallery I love to use vibrant colours.

Some of the work shown in the gallery has been exhibited in London, UK in 2014 and 2015.

 

If I have made pieces limited edition (such as the beautiful Robin above) they will be available to purchase directly from me (so I can ensure the limits are controlled). There will be another gallery coming soon to show these separately. These are fine quality glycee prints that will come with a certificate of authenticity and can be purchased as they are, mounted, or mounted and framed (although I believe it is better for you to buy a frame as you can choose one to match your decor).
